The Her Cycle Trio is our most complete monthly routine: Her PMS, magnesium and ashwagandha. Here's what each one actually brings, and where the evidence is strong or still thin.
Written by Vita Globe Editorial Team | Reviewed against peer-reviewed research and NIH guidance
What does each gummy in the Her Cycle Trio do?
Our Her PMS Gummies cover the PMS-specific piece with chasteberry and vitamin B6, the ingredients most studied for PMS symptoms.[1][2] Magnesium is a mineral many people don't get enough of, and it has been studied for PMS with mixed results.[3] Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that may help with everyday stress.[4]
Caveat: No single ingredient here is a guaranteed fix, and the research on each is still developing. Give the routine about three months of daily use before judging it.

Why these three are bundled together
This is our Her Cycle Duo (Her PMS + magnesium) with ashwagandha added for the stress side of PMS week. All three are vegan, and the trio is priced lower than buying each one separately.
For the bigger picture on what helps PMS, see Best Supplements for PMS: What the Research Actually Supports.
What Her PMS actually does
Our Her PMS Gummies combine 20mg of vitamin B6 with a 111mg blend of chasteberry (vitex), cranberry and dong quai. Chasteberry is the most-studied herb for PMS, and some studies suggest it may help with symptoms like irritability, mood changes and breast tenderness, though the research quality varies.[1] Vitamin B6 has also been studied for PMS, with mixed results.[2]
Most of that research looked at daily use over two to three cycles, so this isn't a take-it-when-cramps-hit product. For the full breakdown, see Chasteberry (Vitex) for PMS: Benefits, Research, and Side Effects.
What magnesium actually does
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of processes in the body, including normal muscle and nerve function, and many Americans get less than the recommended amount from food.[3] A few small studies have looked at magnesium for PMS, but the results are mixed.[3] Our Magnesium Citrate Gummies give you 70mg of magnesium per serving in a raspberry gummy.
What ashwagandha actually does
Ashwagandha has been used in Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years. Some small studies suggest it may help with stress and sleep, but the evidence is limited.[4] Our Ashwagandha Gummies give you 25mg of ashwagandha per gummy, one a day.
It shouldn't be used during pregnancy, it may affect thyroid hormone levels, and rare liver problems have been reported.[4] Check with your doctor if you take thyroid medication, sedatives or other prescriptions.
The honest summary
- Chasteberry has the most PMS-specific research here, though study quality varies.[1]
- Magnesium and vitamin B6 have mixed results for PMS.[2][3]
- Ashwagandha may help with everyday stress but hasn't been studied for PMS specifically.[4]
