Editorial Team

Who writes Vita Globe's wellness content, where our information comes from, and how we keep it accurate.

Who we are

The Vita Globe Editorial Team researches, writes and maintains the articles on this site. We are a small in-house team working alongside Vita Globe's product and quality staff, who have spent more than 30 years in vitamin manufacturing, distribution and private label supplement production.

Our articles are written for general education. They are not medical advice, and they are not written or reviewed by a licensed clinician. Where a topic touches on diagnosis, treatment or a specific health condition, we say so plainly and point you to your own healthcare provider rather than to a product.

How we source information

We work from primary and authoritative sources, in roughly this order of preference:

  • Peer-reviewed research — systematic reviews, meta-analyses and randomized controlled trials published in indexed journals.
  • Clinical practice guidelines from professional bodies such as the American Gastroenterological Association.
  • Government and public health sources — the National Institutes of Health, including the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health and the Office of Dietary Supplements, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
  • Scientific consensus statements from expert organizations such as the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics.

We do not cite other supplement brands, content farms or AI-generated summaries as evidence.

Our editorial standards

  • We cite inline. Substantive factual claims carry a numbered citation linking to a full reference at the end of the article, so you can check the source yourself.
  • We describe the strength of the evidence, not just the conclusion. If a finding comes from a small trial, an animal study or a single strain at a single dose, we say so.
  • We correct popular misstatements rather than repeat them — including ones that would be convenient for us. If the science does not support a common wellness claim, our articles say the science does not support it.
  • We separate education from selling. Product mentions are clearly labelled and kept distinct from the research discussion. We do not attribute clinical outcomes from published studies to our own products.
  • We follow FDA rules for dietary supplements. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and our content does not imply otherwise.

Reviews, updates and corrections

We review our health and wellness articles periodically and update them when the underlying evidence, a guideline or a product formulation changes. Updated articles carry the date of their most recent revision.

If you spot an error, an outdated citation or a claim you think we have overstated, we want to know. Email us and we will look into it and correct the article if you are right.
